Time Flies When You Are Having Fun... and Being Busy!

Here's a quick update. The Matthai's are still busy little bees, but truly we wouldn't have it any other way. We have been working on the house mostly and enjoying time with our amazing friends and family. Gramma Veronica is up lots to see Lily. Lily sure loves her Gramma too. They have lots of 'talks' and good times together. She seems to never poop when Gramma is around... then let's it fly when she leaves. It's pretty comical to Mama and Papa!! That's how it goes I guess.
We got Lily a jumperoo with the gift card from Uncle Mike and Aunt Debbie (thanks SO much for that). We haven't set it up yet though... we are waiting until she is 3 months (only another week about). We saw how hyper her cousin Bane gets in his!! OH BOY!! So the next pics will be in her jumperoo!

The Oregon Coast and Bane & Lily (Cutest Cousins EVER)

Here are a few pictures from our Oregon Coast trip over Labor Day. It was so relaxing and so much fun! We ate like kings on the trip. We had crab and halibut the boys caught. Poor Jerad got seasick halibut fishing... he'd never been on the open ocean that far out. Mama tried to tell him, but he is pretty stubborn. Needless to say, he will be listening to his wife a bit better from here on out! ;p

Most of all we had a great time hanging out with the kids. Bane and Lily just adore each other. Bane tries to roll over on Lily and he loves to lick her! She cries, but Stacey and I just crack up. Bane is such a little ham!! He is a BIG boy... he is 4 months old and weighs 18lbs, 15oz, he's in the 98% for weight. Daddy Eric better start teaching him some football drills as I think we have a little linebacker on our hands. Jerad just loves Bane lots too. He gets down on the floor with him and plays with him. Bane has the cutest laugh, he loves his Unkie Jerad. Bane really is a good baby. Stacey and I got lucky that our kids are so well behaved. So here are some pictures of the kids and a few of the sea lions that like to hang on the Newport Dock. They were WAY loud, and Lily just slept right through them. We will be going to the Oregon Coast every year now. Mama wants to go fishing for Lingcod and Tuna next time! YUM!!!

Sooooo Busy!

Hi Everyone!!

Sorry we haven't updated in awhile. We have been super busy with baby, house and yard. Lisa barely finds time to sneak in a shower lately. Not to mention we were gone every weekend in August and the first in September. It probably won't slow down either as Seahawks season is here already!
Anyone who knows, knows we have been working on our kitchen for sometime now. With lots of delays we are finally almost there!!! It looks awesome too, especially our granite counters (thanks Mike and Eric Gray). The wall is now completely finished so all we have to do is paint (booooo). We don't want to post any pics until it is ALL done... painted, light switches all match, track lighting up, etc. So this Lil' Mama has been on a mission so it should be done soon.

Lily is still just growing in leaps and bounds. At her 2 month appointment she was in the 97% for her length (24 1/2") and 95% for weight (12lbs, 8oz). Her head is in the 50%. So looks as though we are going to have one tall girl on our hands! Her pediatrician is amazed at how healthy and strong she is. We feel blessed she is so healthy and strong. She is a little darling! She is almost laughing and we can't wait to hear it for the first time. She is SUCH a good kid too. Only cries when she is hungry, dirty or sleepy. She does this little 'fake' cry when she wants us to entertain her though, but Ma and Pa are onto that one. She LOVES standing, she bounces on her toes and talks up a storm when you are helping her stand. It's way cute! So here are some pics of her lately... we just love her to pieces. She is beyond any love we have ever experienced. All we can say is it's AMAZING!
