Thanksgiving and Christmas Trees

Thanksgiving was nice. Of course lots of food! Lily sat at the table with us and ate her cereal. Of course Kaiya was hoping someone would drop a little something her way. Mama and Papa gave in though and shared some turkey scraps with her. What a spoiled pup!

Also we Matthai's went with the Kerlee's and Thomas' to get our tree. We go up to Trinity Farms on May Valley Road every year. It is always fun to roam around in the big trees and Jaymin Kerlee was just so cute. He HAD to ride on the train they have there that goes through all the trees, although I think his Daddy had just as much fun!

Here is Lily and Bane hanging out. Bane is all boy and Lily is all girl. It's amazing how much the fit into their gender roles all ready. Bane loves to pick on Lily... rolling over and 'eating' her. And Lily gets back at him by stealing his toys! They are actually pretty good together though and are learning early how to share and play!

A Lil' Lily Update!

We've been getting ready for the holidays! It will be nice to share our first Christmas with Lily. *A quick update on Lily's progress. At her 4 month check up she weighed in at an even 16lbs. She was 27" long. So this puts her in the 95% for weight... and she is off the charts in length, over 100%. Her pediatrician is guesstimating she will be about 5'11" when she is full grown. She's already got long legs like Mama too. I think her new friend Rilyn Kerlee and her will be playing basketball or volleyball together. Though Papa and Mama are hoping she golfs too!! Then she can go out with Grampy and Papa on all the WA Golf Courses. She is SUPER strong! She rolls over and can almost get up on her knees and hands to crawl! Mama is hoping crawling doesn't come too soon... then she will be even harder to keep an eye on. She can push herself to standing from her knees too. She is a happy, growing girl and we just love her!!

We are still busy little beavers. Seems as Lily gets bigger she wants us to entertain her more. Mama and Papa are her puppets!! She's got it pretty good with us waiting on her hand and foot, she certainly is our little Princess... and we just can't get enough of her giggles and screeches! She's even pretty darn cute when she cries!

Growing In Leaps and Bounds! 4 Months Young!

Lily is just growing like a WEED! She has been "finding her voice" lately. Shrieking at her toys is pretty funny! She loves hearing herself scream. Mama and Papa say she's gone up 2 decibels in 2 weeks. She rolls over from front to back and back to front now too. We need to keep our eyes on her, cause it happens so fast. I'm sure she will have a mishap someday, as that's how it goes with kids, but this Mama watches her like a hawk!
She ESPECIALLY loves Kaiya!! She just giggles and giggles and giggles when we make Kaiya fetch her ball and run around. Mama can't stop laughing at her giggling, seriously it brings tears to Mama's eyes cause she's laughing so hard!! Kaiya is just SO sweet with Lily too. She knows Lily is a baby and lets Mama know if she is upset, or needs me. She also loves lying on the floor next to Lily. It just melts Mama's heart. Kaiya is now Lily's doggy for sure!
Lily still loves her jumperoo and Wow, Wow Wubbzy cartoon. She just jumps and jumps!! We swear she's going to fly right out of that thing one day! She just launches herself... it's super entertaining to watch! She totally perks up and smiles HUGE when Wow, Wow is on. It's AWESOME when Mama needs to do laundry, clean, cook or even eat!
So our little girl is getting bigger and absorbing so much.

Little Rilyn Leigh Kerlee arrived yesterday at 5:15pm... what a day! A new baby and a new Prez!! We are SO excited for our wonderful friends!! She is just precious, she is a little "squeeker" and just adorable. (Lisa thinks she looks like Tyler!!). I know Lily looks forward to hanging out with her new "girlfriend". We foresee many great times and memories ahead! Congrats again to the new edition for the Kerlee Family.

A Little Bit of This and That!

Here it is so far! Lil' Lily finally rolled over last Monday! It was great to see. Mama of course was jumping up and down! It was so fast too... Ma was reaching for a toy and almost missed it! Mama sure was proud of me.
Uncle Toby and Sarah came over last Saturday and we threw Toby a BIG birthday dinner. We had rib-eye steak, scallops and the BEST chocolate cake ever!! Lily loves her Uncle Toby... she just stares and stares at him. Though if you know Toby you know he's always had a way with kids. I can't wait until Lily gets bigger. Both Grampa Dave and Uncle Toby can teach Lily the guitar, so that's pretty cool for her!
Also Kaiya (our puppy baby girl) and Lily are fast becoming best friends. Lily sits on Mama's knee and plays with Kaiya. Lily LOVES sticking her hands in Kaiya's mouth to play with her tongue. And Kaiya is so amazing with Lily. She just lets her do whatever she wants. Lily tugs her ears and lips, and Kaiya just sits there and then licks her toes and fingers! Seriously, it is super precious and Mama is so happy to know Kaiya looks out for her baby sister!

OMG!! How cute is my cousin Carson?? Mama and Papa think he is just the cutest thing. Mama and Papa love his hair and cheeks... he is so sweet and well behaved. They are exactly two weeks apart. He tried out Lily's jumperoo and thought it was AWESOME! They are a lifesaver if you need to get something done, like cleaning your kitchen. They get so stimulated by all the toys, mirrors, lights and of course the bouncing! It was nice to see Taran and Adam. It always is!! They are easy to get along with and Mama likes having time to chat with Taran about baby stuff since our kids are so close in age, it's great to see them develop together! And Jerad and Adam seem to always have something dudely to converse on! ;p We hope to see them again real soon!


PS: On a side note... let's just say Mama is SUPER milk productive. We had to buy a new freezer chest to contain it all. It's already half full... it will stay good for a year this way! Mama will donate it if it doesn't get all used, so it will go to a good cause either way!
